DPM1100 flexiable graphite packing
DPM1100 flexiable graphite packing is one of the DPM key product designed to replace rubber O rings in the high temperature mechanical seal application. It is the designed static seals of john Crane Sealol type high temperature metal bellow mechanical seals. Applied with axial pressing force, it will be able to perform the sealing on both axial side and radial side like a braided packing.
The DPM1100 flexiable graphite packing is manufactured by die forming the thin pure expended graphite tape rolls. The pure expended graphite material with corrosion inhibitor has good corrosion resistance to most of the corrosive agent. And it can be used under temperature higher than 300ºC where the rubber is not reliable.
The advantage of low production cost and good sealing ability also makes DPM1100 flexiable graphite
packing a good option in not extreme temperature application to replace some expensive rubber elastomer such as KALREZ as the static seal on mechanical seals.
